PCM

Privacy policy

PCM is business management software. This page explains what we store, why, and what you can do about it.

Account data — your name, phone number, email address and company name are stored so you can sign in and work with your team. Passwords are stored hashed; nobody, including us, can read them.

Business data — projects, accounting records, inventory, assets, CRM leads, attendance records, chat messages and uploaded files belong to your company. We store them on our servers only to provide the service to you and your colleagues.

Location — if your company turns on GPS attendance, your location is checked only at the moment you clock in or out, and only against your approved workplaces. We never track your location in the background.

Microphone — the voice assistant listens only while you have the microphone open, and the recognized text is sent to our server solely to fill in the form you asked for.

Notifications and app statistics — we use Google Firebase to deliver push notifications (it receives a device token, never your business data) and Google Analytics for Firebase to count app opens and the screens used, so we know what to improve. These statistics are not linked to your company’s data and are never used for advertising. On this website, Google Analytics counts visits; it sets cookies only if you accept them.

Payments — subscriptions bought in the iPhone, iPad, Mac or Android app are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your card details; we receive only the subscription’s status, period and transaction reference.

We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t share your data with third parties — apart from the infrastructure and the services named above, which process it only on our behalf.

Security and deletion — the apps talk to our servers over encrypted connections, and backups are encrypted in transit. The company’s manager can ask for a full export of the data, or for the account and all of its data to be deleted, at any time (see Delete account); older backups are erased as they expire.
